STUDENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. If your instructor is unable to attend lessons for any reason, Merkan School of Motoring (MSM) will supply a substitute instructor upon request.
2. In the event of mechanical damage or breakdown to a leaner car Merkan School of Motoring reserves the right to reschedule your lessons to a time convenient for both parties.
3. If for any reason the pupil has to cancel any lesson, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given to the instructor. Failure to do so will result in the pupil being liable for the cost of lesson FEES agreed upon with the instructor or our office.
4. All students must bring their TRNC provisional or equivalent driving licence to each lesson. It is a legal requirement to declare if you are on a driving BAN to the instructor before the first lesson.
5. Merkan School of Motoring has no liability to pupils in respect of any loss or damage that may arise from an instructor as they are self-employed.
6. If payments are made directly to the driving instructor and not directly to the Merkan Scool of Motoring office, MSM will not be held responsible for any refunds that may need to be made.
7. All pre-paid lessons must be taken within 6 months. (18-19 year old Special Deals will be valid for one year)
8. If a refund is requested after buying a block booking of lessons, 750 TL administration will be deducted after the 7 days cooling-off period.
9. 3750 TL is non-refundable due to test and administration costs (If a refund is requested during any point of an intensive course.)
10. Early test day bookings are subject to a non-refundable 1500 TL administration fees AND all the goverment fees that has been paid for.
11. MSM is only responsible for test bookings made by the office and not by the instructors.
12. On your test days, you CAN NOT wear short trousers and slippers.
13. You are responsible to bring all necessary original documents to all your test days (Valid Passport, ID, Imigration documents.)
14. Motorbike CBT Terms and Conditions are read at the CBT site and accepted.
Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
